PEDIATRIC DENTIST NEEDED. Job duties would include operating room cases for those patients that require general anesthesia and in office anesthesia cases twice a month. Compensation can be based either on a percentage of production, salary and production or, salary. Employment status can be as an employee of the group or independent contractor. As an employee, malpractice and health care benefits are paid by the group. After two years employment, the Pediatric Dentist is eligible to participate in a 401K program of which a percentage is matched by the group. The payer base consists of a mix of traditional private insurers and Medicaid. Collectible production is approximately $3,000-$4,000 daily. The practice has been open for five years and recently moved into a new office space. The office size is 1,800 square feet with room for five operatories. Currently, there are 4 complete functioning operatories arranged in an open bay design. There is one insulated closed-door operatory. Each operatory is equipped with a TV, computerized x-ray, and a central DVD system that allows for continuous viewing of children’s movies. Pacific Northwest

Large, privately owned group with ZERO managed care. This practice is a high quality, mainstream family dentistry group with all specialty services offered as well. Facility is a state-of-the-art clinic built less than 10 years ago. New hire will be block assigned a base of 2,000 high quality, long term patients. Immediate salary expectations are in excess of $150,000, with the potential to easily exceed $200,000 in a 4 day work week. Monthly base salary is 30 percent of your personal net production. During your transition period, you will be provided a minimum of $9,000 per month to help you get started. A monthly bonus will also be paid, equal to 10 percent of your net personal production in excess of monthly goals. There are no lab fees or other operating expenses directly allocated against your monthly base pay or bonus. Comprehensive personal and family health insurance is provided at no direct cost to you. Personal and family dental care (including lab fees) are covered 100 percent if performed in office. A group disability insurance plan is in effect that will compensate up to 60 percent of your annual salary until age 65 in your occupation as a dentist.
